Michael
LMT
Michael is an integrative bodyworker who has been in practice for 6 years after graduating with honors from the Cortiva Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida. His integrative bodywork is a therapeutic approach combining the uses of Swedish techniques, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, gua sha, cupping, muscle energy techniques for healthier stretching, all while encouraging whole body movement. Throughout his years of practice, and continued studies of anatomy and movement, the more he focuses his attention on functional movement. Externally and internally. The human body is designed to move in ways to bring relief throughout the entire body as opposed to just certain sections. We have been conditioned to move in dysfunctional ways that bring more stress to the body and truly are the origins of neuromuscular dysfunction. The aims of Michael's practice are assisting in breaking those dysfunctional movements to bring greater relief throughout the physical body which in turn will ease the emotional body.
